Roots
The foundation of Plaza Tropical is rooted in the values of hard work and dedication instilled in us by our parents, who were raised in the rural hills of the Dominican Republic working in agriculture. From an early age, we learned that honesty, humility, and service to others should guide everything we do.
The Journey
In the late 1980s, we migrated to the United States and began building our lives through hard work in the supermarket industry, first in New York and later in Florida. In 2005, we were given the opportunity to acquire Plaza Tropical from the Abraham family. Since then, we have proudly expanded the business — doubling its size and significantly enhancing the variety of products and services we offer to our community.
